Over the years the operation grew to four boats that we know today, operating out of Alaska and the West Coast. Those vessels are the Buck & Ann, Northern Endurance, Southeast, and newest addition, Aleutian Endurance. Currently our vessels harvest Pacific Cod, Pacific Halibut, Sablefish, Dungeness Crab, and Pink Shrimp but new opportunities are always a focus. Endurance Fish Company is the face of our family heritage in commercial fishing and currently manages all of our Alaska and West Coast operations. The company’s core values are providing the best equipment and opportunities to our team whom we consider part of the family. Our long term goals are to continue expansion and providing opportunity to our up and coming stars. Back in the 1950s, Buck Burkholder, found himself stationed in Kodiak Alaska and came across a very special place on the South End of Kodiak Island by the name of Olga Bay. Olga Bay was the start of Alaska fishing for the Burkholder family and it is still a place they are active and hold dear to their heart. Buck’s children, Bernie, Wayne, and Nina were all introduced to fishing in Olga Bay at a young age.
